YORKSHIRE’S second XI clash with Derbyshire at Stamford Bridge ended in a draw.
The Tykes totalled 314-9 in their second innings at Low Catton Road to lead by 220 runs late on the final day.
Derbyshire’s second innings reached 9-1 before the captains called a halt at about 5pm.
Lee Hodgson top-scored for the Tykes with 86, while Joe Sayers made 60, Alex Lees 48 and Heworth’s Jack Leaning 43. Azeem Rafiq departed overnight to train with the first team and was 35 not out.
Bridge’s Norman Pearson declared the fixture a huge success.
