Yorkshire have taken charge of their LV= County Championship match against Lancashire at Headingley thanks to five third morning wickets.
The Red Rose county, having started the day on 33-3 and leading by 122, slumped to 87-8 as Rich Pyrah, Ryan Sidebottom and Tim Bresnan all struck.
They have since moved onto 96-8 from 43 overs at lunch, leading by 185.
Bresnan bowled Steven Croft and later trapped Gareth Cross lbw for 19 shortly before the break to go in with figures of 4-30.
Mark Chilton was trapped by Pyrah, who also had Glen Chapple caught behind by a tumbling Jonny Bairstow.
Sidebottom was the other wicket-taker, trapping Tom Smith in front.
There is still some help for the bowlers, especially with the new ball. The dismissal of Cross – the ball kept low – indicated some uneven bounce.
But Yorkshire are definitely favourites to clinch an incredible third win of the summer.
Sajid Mahmood and Kyle Hogg will be the men at the crease this afternoon.
