Yorkshire 2nd XI went into the final day of their Roses duel against Lancashire at Stamford Bridge Cricket Club with a 28-run lead.
The Tykes resume today on 140-3 in their second innings headed by Joe Root’s 64 and 54 from first innings centurion Anthony McGrath.
This was after Lancashire recovered from 76-4 to 288 in their first innings reply to the White Rose tally of 316.
The Red Rose revival was led by Jordan Clarke (97) and Stephen Parry (88), who shared a 186 fifth-wicket stand.
