CHAMPIONS York Cricket Club lead the Solly Sports Yorkshire ECB County Premier League by only four points after their trip to Hull was washed out.
Chief title rivals Rotherham Town, who have two games in hand, closed the gap with a 106-run win over Appleby Frodingham.
Yesterday, Duncan Snell hit 100 not out as York progressed to the League Cup semi-finals with a seven-wicket victory over Barnsley.
Chasing 218 to win, the Clifton Parkers got home with nearly four overs to spare.
