CHAMPIONS York remain 19 points off the pace in the Solly Sports Yorkshire ECB County Premier Cricket League after a fourth washout in 11 games.

The club’s trip to leaders Harrogate was one of four games to fall foul of the weather on Saturday.

Rotherham Town moved into second place in the table with a 74-run victory over struggling Sheffield United.

In the only other game to get under way, fourth-placed Driffield Town were six-wicket winners over Cleethorpes.

Scarborough’s trip to Hull and Yorkshire Academy’s game at Sheffield Collegiate, plus Castleford’s match at Appleby Frodingham were also non-starters.
