FREE-SCORING King William won 4-2 at Layfield Arms Yarm to reach the North Riding County Cup semi-finals.
The York side took command early on, going ahead after only four minutes when Anthony Evans headed home a Mark Willoughby corner.
Danny Gray collected a long kick from goalkeeper Ben Sheenan to coolly round the Yarm ’keeper and double the lead from a tight angle.
In the second period, Yarm pulled a goal back five minutes after the restart but this was immediately cancelled out a minute later when Evans scored.
Gray made it 4-1 in the 53rd third minute with his second to wrap up the tie before Yarm scored a late consolation.
Station FC are through to the final of the Barkston Ash FA Cup are trouncing Albion Vaults 11-3.
