York Minster Engineering Football League division three leaders F1 Racing extended their unbeaten home run to 14 matches with a 2-0 win over Sporting Knavesmire.

However, they were indebted to goalkeeper Dan Hoggins for helping to keep the visitors at bay. Neil Yeowart hit their opener with George Trifan doubling their lead in the second period.

Barmby Moor hit five goals for the fourth successive game as they defeated promotion rivals Bishop Wilton 5-1 – and after going behind for the third game running.

Bishop Wilton retained second place but only on goal difference from Barmby Moor.

Civil Service re-ignited their slim promotion chances with a 6-0 home win over Huby with goals from Findlay Gillyham, James Windle (2), Craig Theaker, Mathew Deighton and Shaun Rayner.

Ben Jones scored twice for Ouseburn in their 3-1 home win over Selby Olympia.

Crayke recorded their first win for 13 months as they beat Elvington 2-1. Steve Johnson’s opener for Crayke was nullified by Neil Alexander before Dan Smith hit their winner.
