Easingwold Town’s 4-2 defeat at Huntington Rovers ended their three-year stay in the York Minster Engineering Football League top flight.
Hosts Huntington opened the scoring through Ash Hill before Chris Dyson was on target for the fourth game on the spin.
Simon Webster reduced the arrears with the first of his two goals for Easingwold before Lee Bunce and James Edmund wrapped up the conquest.
After the game Huntington announced they had secured the services of ex-York City player Iain Dunn and Pete Laidlaw to manage the premier division side, with Gary Naylor and Paul Horsman looking after the reserves.
Champions Dunnington inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Wigginton Grasshoppers with goals from Tom Richards (2), Luke Dove and Grant Bulmer to wrap up the campaign without a single loss.
Barmby Moor reclaimed second position in division three following a 2-0 win at Selby Olympia. Simon Houlder and Will Nicholson scored.
Needing a win in their final game to ensure their reserve ‘C’ status for next season, Poppleton trailed 3-2 at home to Rowntrees.
But the guile and experience of 47-year-old Ken Powell showed as he hit the winner in Poppleton’s 5-4 win, in which Nick Moss (3) and Matty Graham also scored.
Crayke needed to beat hosts Rufforth United by at least three goals to claim promotion from reserve ‘D’.
But despite Jack Cartwright, Toby Wells and Matty Bilham goals, it will be St Clement’s who will be playing in reserve ‘C’ after Crayke conceded solo strikes from Tom Bateson and Danny Rogers.
