WHIPPING boys Lincoln Moorlands Railway were put to the sword as Tadcaster Albion revived their Northern Counties East League premier division title bid.
The Brewers trounced struggling Railway 6-0 at Ings Lane to pick up their first league win in four matches, keeping them three points behind leaders Barton Town Old Boys.
Striker Carl Stewart led the rout with two spot kicks, while there were also goals for Danny Critchlow, Vincent Dhesi, Mitch Hamilton and Dan Barrett.
Critchlow broke the deadlock on 27 minutes and Dhesi added a second on 40 minutes before Stewart’s first spot kick a minute before the break.
The last three goals came in the final ten minutes, with Hamilton netting on 80 minutes, three minutes before Stewart’s second penalty.
Barrett rounded off the rout with two minutes remaining.
Former York City trialist Lee Elam, who had a spell at Harrogate Town, tormented Pickering Town as Albion Sports won 3-0 at Mill Lane.
Veteran Elam scored two headed goals in the first half, after 23 minutes and on the stroke of half-time, and Daniel Facey added the third on 75 minutes.
Selby Town's division one trip to Teversal was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, while Knaresborough Town lost 2-0 at home to Bottesford Town. Jack Start and Nathan Smith netted in the second period.
Harrogate Town hit back from 1-0 down at home to Stalybridge Celtic to bag their first win in four Conference North games.
The Wetherby Road visitors took the lead on 26 minutes but Chris Hall levelled two minutes later and Adam Nowakowski hit the winner on 58 minutes.
Harrogate Railway Athletic were beaten 2-0 at home by fourth- placed Darlington 1883 in Evo-Stik League division one north.
Joseph Tait gave the Station View visitors the lead on seven minutes and Stephen Thompson made it two a minute before the break.
In division one south, Scarborough Athletic lost 2-0 at promotion-chasing Coalville Town, whose second-half goalscorers were Jordan Hempenstall and Robert Evans.
