RAWCLIFFE extended their lead at the top of York Minster Engineering Football League division two to five points with a 6-3 win over Barmby Moor.
Tom Botterill, Danny Coulson (2), Frazer Shields, Scott Pallister and Jonny Moss all bagged for the home side, with Liam Booth (2) and Shaun Elvidge hitting the target for Moor.
Third-placed Heslington also kept their promotion hopes alive with a 1-0 win against Bishopthorpe United, Andrew Lee scoring the only goal of the game.
The only game in division three saw Selby Olympia win 2-0 at Huby.
Reserve ‘A’ leaders Dunnington moved further clear of their rivals with a 3-0 home win over Church Fenton White Horse.
Andy Rose, Simon Castle and Bradley Swainston grabbed the goals for the defending champions.
Wigginton and Easingwold enjoyed a 3-3 draw at Mill Lane.
Grasshoppers raced into a 3-0 lead after just 18 minutes with goals from Tom Derbyshire, Craig Huggins and Jack Thompson. However, Easingwold proved their resilience and came back to secure a point thanks Richard Brian, Scott Dixon and Jordan Grose.
Goals were the order of the day at Bishopthorpe in reserve ‘B’, where the hosts defeated Heslington 8-5.
Ben Willis, Pete Norman, Russell Carr and Olly Murray (2) bagged for Heslington.
Malton & Norton and Riccall United drew 0-0.
The only game in reserve ‘C’ saw Civil Service and Brooklyn draw 0-0.
Reserve ‘D’ leaders Hamilton Panthers hammered Wilberfoss 9-1 thanks to goals from Kevin Butler (4), Kyle Butler (3), Daniel Coombs and Dale Phillips. Walker scored for Wilberfoss. Joe White and Chris Jackson got two each as Cliffe beat F1 4-1.
