TADCASTER Albion thrashed derby rivals Pickering Town 5-0 to strengthen their grip on top spot in the Northern Counties East League premier division.
The Brewers, who passed the milestone of 100 goals for the season, are now seven points clear of Barton Town Old Boys, who lost 3-2 at Armthorpe Welfare.
The greater danger is posed by Brighouse Town, who are 11 points adrift of Albion with five games in hand after their 2-2 draw with Athersley Recreation.
The Pikes, the division's top scorers with 109 goals, were put in the shade by the leaders, who led 2-0 at half-time thanks to a Matt Sparkes double.

Harrogate Town twice came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at home to Colwyn Bay in Conference North.
Chris Hall got the first equaliser six minutes before the break and Anton Brown struck in the last minute to snatch a point for the Wetherby Road hosts.
Harrogate Railway Athletic lost 2-0 at Mossley Evo-Stik League division one north, with Wayne Welbeck scoring both goals in the second half.
Scarborough Athletic were 3-0 victors at Bedworth United in division one south. Grant Ryan bagged the first after only three minutes and the Seadogs were in total command when Gary Bradshaw added a second on 12 minutes.
Jordan Thewlis rounded off the win with a goal in the last minute as Scarborough moved back up to sixth in the table.
