FREE-KICK specialist Lewis McMahon struck again with another dead-ball beauty to rescue a point for York City Reserves at home to Rotherham United last night.
The goal was no more than a young City side merited. It was their first Pontin's game for close on a month with the home ranks fielding five youngsters.
Rotherham, meanwhile, were an experienced side, whose interplay led to them breaking from a City corner to take the lead just before half-time.
City plugged on and McMahon restored parity with a curling free-kick from 25 yards eight minutes from time.
Enthused reserve team coach Colin Walker: "We were chuffed with the lads. They kept battling away and fully deserved the draw."
