BROTHERS Paul and Richard Bedingham helped Clifton to a 10-6 battering of Bubwith White Swan in a York Sunday Afternoon division one programme littered with goals.

Paul Bedingham bagged half of Clifton's ten-strike spree with Richard bagging two, while Nathan Allan and Michael Clancy completed the romp. Clifton even missed two penalties. The Bubwith marksmen were led by Peter Taylor, whose hat-trick was supplemented by goals from Jeremy James, Wesley Pears and Tom Robinson.

In a seven-goal thriller, Huntington WMC's battling powers were tested. Twice they came back from going behind to hosts Dunnington, but they could not repeat the feat and perished 4-3. Dunnington's hit-men were Paul Downing, Lukas Genever, Matthew Davies and James Windle, while Stuart Phillips, Daniel Franks and Lee Bunse replied.

Home outfit College of Law fared better on the comeback trail. Down 3-0 at half-time to Winning Post they rallied well to finish all-square at 4-4. College scorers were Richard Crabb (2), Adam Bulmer and Andrew Yates, while the Wining Post plunder was shared between Nigel Parker, Liam King, Tom Nicholas and Ken Charman.

There was another ten-goal tally rattled up in division two, where Copmanthorpe flattened FTR Burnholme 10-1. Adam Flinders and Adam Field each scored hat-tricks, with the other goals going to Oliver Davies, Jake Moyse, Stuart Auton and Daniel Wilson. Colin Sampson nicked Burnholme's lone goal.
