WITH York Leeper Hare Football league division one leaders Wilberfoss a casualty of the weather, Haxby returned to the top after they beat Riccall 4-1.
Both sides were defending an unbeaten run of seven games but it was Haxby who extended theirs with goals by Paul Bedingham (2), Scott Barley and Mike Fox. Jeremy James hit a spectacular goal for Riccall.
Hamilton Panthers found themselves two down at the interval at Rufforth, Glen Thompson and Nick Hawksby getting the goals. Mike McKenzie reduced the arrears before adding another in the 88th minute to earn a point.

With Rawcliffe's game postponed, Stillington joined the three-way tie at the top as they beat LNER Builders 4-0 with Paul Floyd (3) and Jamie Metcalf on target.
Strensall have games in hand on all the top three sides and they kept in contention with a 3-2 home win over Heworth with goals from John Cooper and Matty Brown (2).
Two goals from Tom Gibson gave Barmby Moor the lead over visitors Norton until six minutes from time when Dave Allen reduced the arrears and three minutes later Tony Ellison snatched a leveller.
But for the second week running Moor were awarded a last-minute penalty, and just as he did last week, Sam Appleton calmly stroked the spot kick home to clinch victory.
