Dunnington took full advantage of leaders Dringhouses' postponement to close the gap at the top Reserve A'.
They moved within a point of Dringhouses, and have two games in hand, after they beat Old Malton 4-0 with goals from Mathew Cowan (2), James Calvert and Ben Norris.
Rufforth, who also have games in hand, consolidated their third place with a 3-0 home win over Thorpe with goals from Chris Green (2) and Martin Pepper.
Copmanthorpe's away form continues to blight any realistic hope they have of winning the title. Their 1-1 draw at Kartiers was their tenth on the road without a win. Mathew Pearson put them in front but Simon Hewitt's penalty earned Kartiers a point.
Nestle Rowntree's Robert Sidonio hit his second hat-trick in a month as his side won 5-0 at Pocklington. Paul Scaife and Danny Sellars added the other goals. Danny Fairclough, New Earswick's goalkeeper, produced an excellent display to keep Huntington at bay as his side won 2-0 with both goals coming in a two-minute spell from Tom Magee and Jonathon O'Neill.
