James Walshaw put the Wetherby Road hosts in front on eight minutes and McGurk made it two on ten minutes.
Dominic Rowe got the third on 37 minutes and Louie Swain put the seal on the win with 11 minutes remaining. Connor Hughes netted from the penalty spot in the last minute for Hyde.
Nathan Cartman scored a hat-trick as Harrogate Railway Athletic won 4-1 at Salford City in Evo-Stik League division one north.
Malachi Farquharson set the ball rolling with a 16th-minute strike and Cartman netted two minutes later.
Cartman's second on the half hour made it 3-0 at the break and he completed his treble on 54 minutes, with Sam Madeley scoring in the last minute for Salford.
Seventh-placed Scarborough Athletic were 3-0 victors at Radcliffe Borough.
Gary Bradshaw opened the scoring on 17 minutes, Matty Plummer made it 2-0 on 35 minutes and Ryan Blott added the third on 65 minutes.
