All the top five sides in York Leeper Hare division two recorded wins, leaving both Osbaldwick and Tadcaster Albion wthin five points of promotion.

Leaders Osbaldwick hammered Hemingbrough 6-0 while Tadcaster beat Moor Lane 4-1 with goals from Sam Lendle, Darren Wilson (2) and David Malcolmson.

Moor Lane, whose goal came from Jamie Hurst, now go to White Horse in midweek knowing a win will see them avoid the drop.

New Earswick stayed in the bottom two as they were beaten 4-1 at home to Fulford despite taking the lead in the second half through Mike Clancey. But after they were reduced to ten men the visitors took control with goals from Andrew Browse (penalty), Andrew Alexander, an own goal and Joe Konarski.

White Horse ended a run of seven games without a win as goals from David Marshall and Lenny Mason gave them a 2-0 home triumph over Huby Lee Dutton and Nick Hutchinson each hit five goals as York RI hammered Civil Service 13-1.
