York F1 Racing Premier Karting Football League division two leaders Wigginton Grass-hoppers put more vital points in the bag by beating Bishopthorpe 6-4, with the Coates brothers stealing the show.
Ben hit two, and Jack and Tom were also on the scoresheet, along with Luke Roberts and Craig Parker.
Wigginton can yet be caught by Skelton and Shipton, who have games in hand.
Skelton were in seventh heaven after a 7-1 hammering of Haxby Lions. Michael Heels opened the scoring with an astute 45-yard lob and, after Haxby equalised, Skelton ran riot. Heels got another but was overshadowed by four-goal hero Ben Janes, while Shaun Robinson got the other.
Shipton, though, slipped up badly as they were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom club Shoulder of Mutton. Andrew Watkinson scored for Shoulder with Chapman replying for Ship.
Hemingbrough gained a point in their battle against relegation by drawing 2-2 with Deramore Arms. Luke Zacharenko and Matt Williams scored for Boro, Stephen Jackson and Michael Horner responding for Deramore.
