CLIFTON stayed unbeaten for the season with an 8-2 York and District Sunday Afternoon League first division win at College of Law.

Michael Clancy and John Gothard both bagged braces with Paul Bedingham, Kyle Butler, Michael Fox and Scott Stewart also netting. Alistair McHenry and Greg Kilverton replied.

Goals from Anthony Lawrence, Michael Allenby, Cliford Baxter and Luke Smith saw AFC Huntington defeat Dunnington Reserves 4-3. Ben Brown (2) and Oliver Hayden replied for Dunnington, who later lost 3-0 to Woodthorpe Tree Diamonds.

Smith also hit a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Allenby and Baxter again, as well as Euan Paton, Sam Frazer, Shaun Wilson and Gareth Miles, in a 9-1 victory over FTR Burnholme.

Kings Head won 3-1 at Clifton Rangers with David Allan (2) and Tom Paley the marksmen. Stephen Gragen got Clifton's consolation.

Thomas Bothamley (2) and Richard Cass strikes then ensured Kings stayed top of the second division table after a 3-0 triumph at Harrogate Town CFC.

Copmanthorpe's Philip Smith and Gabriel Horgan and Drum's David Barthorpe and Danny Lamb ensured their sides shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Drum also took a point in a 3-3 draw against Clifton Rangers with Lamb and Aaron Ward notching. Gragen and Michael Lillie (2) replied for Rangers.
