HARROGATE Town's play-off fate could lie in the hands of draw specialists Redditch United tomorrow.

The Worcestershire side have, unusually, shared the spoils in all six of their last Conference North matches during a 12-game unbeaten record stretching back to February.

That run has seen Redditch stave off relegation barring a mathematical miracle tomorrow but, if they can avoid defeat for a 13th match at home to Farsley Celtic tomorrow, then Neil Aspin's men will claim the league's final play-off place provided they beat Worcester City at Wetherby Road.

Harrogate could also sneak into the top five with a point if Farsley lose but would then need to depend on Blyth Spartans and Hyde United failing to win their final games of the season - both at home.

Blyth entertain Hinckley United, who have already secured their play-off place along with Kettering and Workington, while Hyde play host to newly-crowned champions Droylsden.

Ninth-placed Worcester could also still gatecrash the play-off party but only if they took maximum points at Harrogate, Farsley are beaten and Blyth and Hyde both fail to win.

Harrogate, however, are without a win in five games and have only tasted victory in three of their last 14 outings.

Aspin will also be without suspended former York City right back Jamie Price with Roy Hunter, Danny Holland, Leigh Wood and Chris Ellerker all injury doubts.

About his side's play-off prospects, Aspin said: "There's still a definite possibility as it won't be easy for Farsley at Redditch but it will be difficult considering our home form this season and our current form is not the best. Worcester have been getting better results but at least we still have a chance to get in the top five so we've got to make sure we win our game in case Farsley slip up."

At the other end of the table, Scarborough will be hoping to preserve their record as the Conference North side with the fewest away defeats this season.

Amazingly, despite their relegation, the Seadogs have only lost four times on their travels and have collected more away points than champions Droylsden.

Their final fixture before becoming a UniBond League outfit sees Mark Patterson's men visit Hucknall Town tomorrow and club secretary Derek Megginson said: "We've got a fantastic away record. It's the envy of every team in England bar Manchester United.

"We've also got a positive goal difference and have been relegated which is bizarre really."

Defender Jimmy Beadle will be unavailable for Boro after being allowed to leave the club a week early to play for Swedish regional team Ange over the summer.

Megginson also gave assurances in terms of the club's off-pitch future despite their financial problems, saying: "Things are looking up. We are getting the pitch sorted out now and everything is geared towards preparing for next season."
