Just two teams are battling it out for honours in Reserve A'.
York St John's are out of contention following their 2-1 home defeat to Huntington Rovers. Pat Noon and John Colley scored for Huntington. Neil Fryers scored for the students.
Leaders Dunnington opened up a five-point gap after they beat Copmanthorpe 2-0 with goals from Anthony Downing and Dave Kitchen. Dunnington will secure the title if they beat Thorpe on Wednesday.
Shaun Pickles scored twice in Thorpe's 4-2 home win over Pocklington. That kept Thorpe's hopes alive of avoiding the drop, but consigned Pocklington to relegation.
Old Malton join Thorpe on 19 points following their 4-1 win over Rufforth in which Phil Smith bagged two of their goals. Also on the same points are New Earswick who meet both Thorpe and Old Malton in the next week.
Heworth were denied the Reserve B' title in the last minute of their final game of the season.
They conceded a late goal to Wilberfoss's Mark Bramble to draw 1-1. Ben Clarke had put Heworth in front.
A Wigginton win in their final game will mean Heworth will have to be content with runners-up spot, but a Wigginton defeat would mean Heworth would be champions. If Bishopthorpe win their final game they would finish runners-up.
The Wilberfoss point ensures their safety from the drop but both Tockwith and Amotherby will be playing in Reserve C' next season.
