SHIPTON pipped Wigginton Grasshoppers on goal difference to the York F1 Racing Premier Karting Sunday League division two title in midweek.
Shipton hammered Cueball Fulford 8-1, before drawing 0-0 with Deramore Arms to take the title, despite Wigginton beating Skelton 1-0. Skelton themselves had a strong finish to end up third in the table after they defeated Cueball Fulford 4-2 with goals from Ben Janes (2), Neale Holmes and Steve Price.
Hemingbrough signed off with a resounding 7-3 thumping of bottom club Shoulder Of Mutton.
Newly crowned division one champions Severus SC fell 3-1 to Thorpe United, who then beat Acomb WMC by the same score for Thorpe to finish mid-table.
Acomb were 8-4 victors over bottom club Hambleton who then notched up only their second win with a good 4-1 away win over York Nomads.
Derwent United's hopes of a promising finish to the season fell short with a string of bad defeats culminating in an 11-2 drubbing at the hands of Selby Olympia WMC, who, in turn, lost 5-1 to the Ainsty Panthers a few days later.
Runners up Hounds finished their fixtures with a 4-1 win over rivals Marcia.
Wanderers are the division three champions and they completed their programme with 5-0 win over rivals Bay Horse Tadcaster and followed that up by an 8-3 thumping of F1 Racing.
Copmanthorpe finished third after they beat Wilberfoss 9-1, but had lost 5-2 to Bay Horse Tadcaster and 4-1 to new York FA Junior Cup winners Selby Griffin.
The title was decided some time ago in division four - going to Cross Keys - and in division five, Acorn were the winners.
In the remaining division five games AFC Cygnet beat Cueball Fulford 5-2 to finish third, but then threw away a 5-1 half-time lead against Hambleton Reserves for the match to end up a 5-5 draw.
