REIGNING division one champions in the RJF Homes-Beckett League Kirkbymoorside Reserves had their best result of the season when they beat Aislaby United 5-1.
In the first half, the Moorsiders cruised into a 3-0 lead with a goals by Shaun Cox and Chris Nichols (2).
Aislaby United pulled a goal back after 55 minutes when Nick Wilkinson scored with a penalty but the Moorsiders stormed back with a Ryan Rivis brace.
First division leaders Ryedale Sports Club beat Union Rovers 2-1. Ryedale scored a goal in each half thanks to a brace from Ben Richardson. Union's second-half reply was a Peter Tiffany header.
Current division two leaders Bagby and Balk have a four-point lead and a game in hand on second-placed Ryedale Sports Club Reserves after winning 4-2 at Slingsby.
Bagby and Balk's marksmen were Dan George, Darren Bell, Dave Joyce and Ben Gilbank to wipe out a lead given by Sean Keefe and Darren Dyer strikes.
