Haxby United went marching on in their pursuit of the Leeper Hare York Football League premier division title after an excellent 3-1 win at Tockwith.
A devastating second half display helped them open up an impressive nine-point lead at the top.
After a goalless first half, Will Richmond put the hosts in front, but Haxby were back on level terms within eight minutes through Dave Newton.
Newton scored his second of the game with a delightful free-kick and sub Matt Hartas completed the scoring.
Old Malton moved up to seventh with a 3-1 win over Malton & Norton in the Ryedale derby.
Simon Cooke gave Old Malton the lead and Dave Bell's 13th league goal of the season gave his side a two-goal cushion at the break.
The visitors pulled a goal back when Simon Collins converted a penalty, but Chris Hudson confirmed the win with a goal in the 89th minute.
Old Malton 'keeper Rob Thackeray produced a series of stunning saves to keep his side on top.
Copmanthorpe were beaten 5-2 by hosts Dunnington.
Dunnington raced into a five-goal lead with strikes from Andy Rose (2), Tom Richardson, Guy Jackson and Grant Tolworthy, but a goal from John Langley and a Terry Hibbert penalty gave Cop some respectability.
In division one, Riccall ended Stamford Bridge's run of eight unbeaten matches as they won 4-2.
John Barnitt gave the home side the lead, but Nick Rank levelled for Bridge.
Riccall went into the interval in front courtesy of a 25-yard free kick from Kev Kozicki. Second half goals from Pete Collier and John Knowles confirmed the win, with John Etherington snatching a late goal for Bridge.
Amotherby & Swinton reclaimed pole position after a 5-1 win over Ouseburn.
They were two in front by the break, through Nicky Drew and Tom Moorcroft.
Early in the second half Simon Wall added a penalty, before Richard Carruthers reduced the deficit.
However, Moorcroft scored again and Mickey Brown netted a penalty.
Wilberfoss extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a 3-2 success at Pocklington, with goals from Rich Tinson, Olly Newby and Jono Parkin. Danny Croft bagged both Pock goals.
Poppleton trailed at the break to goals from Tadcaster's Darren Wilson and Phil Biscombe.
In the second half, they drew level with two goals from Ben Janes and Dave Pickles headed Pop's winner five minutes from time.
York RI are the new division two leaders after a 5-4 win over White Horse.
The York led 5-1 with goals from Lee Dutton, Darren Sellars (2), Luke Richardson and Liam Keenaghan.
But the Church Fenton team rallied as James Mason, Alex Sykes and Andy Jones all scored to add to Jamie McMaster's earlier goal.
RI 'keeper Carl Welsh saved a penalty.
Huby atoned for their opening day defeat at the hands of Selby RSSC as they won the return fixture 2-1.
Lee Goodwin put Huby in front and Wayne Howell's header doubled their advantage, with Matty Williamson pulling a goal back for the Selby side from the penalty spot.
Post Office drew 3-3 with visitors Elvington.
Mike Heels and Reece Chappelow put the hosts 2-0 up, but Elvington were level at the break through Luke Dove and Chris Bowles.
In the second half, the hosts hit the woodwork four times before Michael Cooper restored their lead, only for Harriers to snatch an equaliser with a cracking Dove free-kick in the 89th minute.
