York RI opened up a two-point lead at the top of Leeper Hare York League division two as they extended their unbeaten run to 11 games with a 2-1 win at Elvington.
Luke Dove struck in the second half for Elvington, but the visitors were already in front with first half goals from Gary Smith and Luke Richardson.
Rufforth drew 2-2 with hosts Church Fenton White Horse.
Church Fenton led at the break with goals from James McMaster and Richard Marshall, but Rufforth hit back through Rob Murphy and Louis Cannon.
Fulford and Post Office also drew, with Jack Nicholas giving Fulford the lead only to see it cancelled out by Mathew Wood.
Huby's steady progress up the table continued as they beat St Clement's 3-1.
Richard Wilsden and Simon Wilson both scored in the first half and John Thomas-Durrant converted a second half penalty for Huby.
Hemingbrough registered their first home win in nine games as they got the better of visitors Strensall in a game where the lead changed hands four times.
The hosts won 4-3 with a brace from Danny Smith and one each from Luke Zacharenko and Harry Jackson.
Strensall, whose goals came from Lee Lyons, Tudor Carrington and Shaun Whincup, were severely hampered when they lost player-manager Stuart Ross with a suspected broken leg.
