RJF Homes Beckett Football League leaders Bagby and Balk threw away a 3-0 lead to share the spoils in an eight-goal thriller against Thornton-le-Dale.

An Andrew Parkinson brace, after Darren Bell had opened the scoring, saw Bagby three up after just 16 minutes.

Ben Thompson pulled a goal back but Martin Kendal made it 4-1. By half-time, however, Thornton had reduced the arrears with Luke Hobbs scoring and then winning his side a penalty which Paul Grayson converted.

Ten minutes into the second half, Thompson grabbed the equaliser with his second, and Bagby were forced to hold out with ten men after Ben Gilbank was sent off for two bookable offences.
