Nestlé Flag have been crowned Ian’s Cars of Barlby Sunday Morning Football League division one champions.
Flag crushed Cliffe 15-2 as Ash Hill and Chris Dyson netted five goals each.
The other goals were scored by Tom Hewitt, Jonathon Ross, John James, Stuart Ogden and goalkeeper Kevin Martin, with a penalty.
Cliffe replied with second half strikes from Nielson Lambert and Tom Hogg.
Hounds finished runners-up after seeing off Derwent United 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Michael Braithewaite.
Liam Olsson and Alan Jackson were the other Hounds scorers.
Rich Bedingham, Louis Howarth, Michael Clancy and Kevin Butler all hit the target as Wanderers claimed a 4-4 draw at Skelton.
This Sunday, knockout football takes centre stage as the finals of the Ian’s Cars of Barlby Junior Trophy and Senior Challenge Trophy take place at New Earswick Sports Ground.
The Junior final between Acomb WMC and York St John kicks off at 10.15am, with the Senior final between Skelton FC and Wanderers starting at 11am.
The York Sunday Morning League Cup final between Hounds and Nestlé Flag will now take place at New Earswick on Thursday, May 13, kick off 6.15pm.
