Nestlé Flag have lifted the Ian’s Cars of Barlby York Sunday Morning Football League Cup.
Flag, who had already won the first division title, sealed the double with a 3-1 win over Hounds.
Flag were rewarded after only two minutes when Ash Hill powered home an an unstoppable shot.
Hounds’ first chance came after 30 minutes when they had a goal- bound effort blocked and the follow-up was struck wide, while both Hill and Chris Dyson were foiled by Hounds goalkeeper Mark Sanderson.
Flag finally made their superiority count when Hill slipped through two tackles to score for a 2-0 half-time lead.
Hounds halved the deficit on 70 minutes when Michael Braithwaite struck from close range following good work from Alan Jackson.
Flag sealed victory five minutes from time through substitute Chris Dempsey.
