Selby Town take on Grimsby Borough at Flaxley Road tonight (7.30pm) aiming to build on their opening pre-season friendly win.
The Robins kicked off preparations for the Northern Counties East League premier division campaign with a 2-1 victory over Grimsby Town Youth – their first game under new boss Mick Gray.
The new-look Robins netted through Ricky Beldon in the 56th minute and Ian Beckram in the 72nd minute, with Charlie I’Anson pulling a goal back with ten minutes remaining.
Admission for tonight’s clash with Grimsby Borough is £3 for adults and £1.50 concessions.
On Friday, Selby host Bird’s Eye United (7.30pm), with the match followed by a “meet the manager” session in the clubhouse.
