York City will be joined in today’s FA Trophy first round draw by Harrogate Town and Whitby Town.
The two North Yorkshire rivals go into the hat despite needing to negotiate replays to see off their third qualifying round opponents.
Harrogate Town drew 1-1 with Witton Albion, with Sonny Bradley levelling on ten minutes after Danny Maguire had given Albion a second minute lead. The sides will meet again on Wednesday.
Whitby will travel to Northwich Victoria tomorrow after their tie ended 2-2, with goals from Chris Batchelor and Andy Campbell being cancelled out by an own goal and John McAliskey.
Harrogate Railway Athletic bowed out after a 4-3 Station View defeat by Nantwich Town.
Athletic led twice, through Liam Gray and Colin Hunter, but they slipped 4-2 behind before Jon Maloney’s 88th minute strike.
In Evo-Stik League division one north, former York City loan striker David Dowson hit a second half hat-trick as Durham City beat Ossett Albion 4-2.
Discarded York City junior Jamie Hopcutt netted an 86th minute winner for Ossett Town in a 1-0 premier division victory at Ashton.
