FREEZING conditions once again played havoc with the football fixture programme.

The Northern Counties East League was wiped out, with Tadcaster Albion’s trip to Scarborough Athletic among those biting the dust.

The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 1.

Elsewhere in the premier division, Selby Town’s home game against Bridlington and Pickering Town’s trip to Long Eaton were also postponed.

A new date has not yet been set for the Pikes game, but Selby will now host Brid on Tuesday, February 22.

The Robins have confirmed their derby game with Pickering on Monday, December 27 will kick off at 1pm and not the original time of 3pm.

All Evo-Stik League games were called off, including Harrogate Railway Athletic’s trip to Prescot Cables in division one north.

Harrogate Town’s game at Hinckley United in Blue Square Bet North was also postponed.

If the cold snap relents, Harrogate are due to host Corby Town tomorrow (7.45pm).
