Acomb WMC became the first third division side to win the Ian’s Cars of Barlby League Trophy after beating local rivals Leeman United 4-2 in extra time.
The cup success sealed a terrific treble for the Acomb aces, who have also won the Ian’s Cars of Barlby York Sunday Morning Football League division three title and the Junior FA Cup.
The title was confirmed after they toppled Shoulder of Mutton 3-1 thanks to a brace from Danny Gray and Colin Rayner.
The League Trophy, which is competed for by all four divisions, has until now always been won by sides from the top two divisions.
Acomb, who have won 31 games out of 33 played so far, will bid for a fourth crown on Sunday when they play Hemingbrough in the final of the Junior Challenge Trophy.
In the League Trophy showdown, Acomb pressed from the off and were rewarded when a Raynor corner caused confusion in the United six-yard box and Neil Ducey pounced to force the ball home.
However, almost straight away Leeman levelled as a Jimmy Clamp corner zipped into the net.
Openings were traded between the two rivals but it was not until the second half when Leeman went ahead with an Adam Woods header.
Within two minutes Gray’s unstoppable free-kick made it 2-2 to take the tie into extra time.
The first period saw Acomb gradually getting on top and regain the advantage with a Ducey header from a Scott Nicholas cross.
That lead was doubled in the second period when, after a fine solo run, Gray lobbed the ’keeper.
In division one, Hounds finished their campaign with three wins.
They beat hosts Nestlé Flag 5-1 with goals from Tom Osbourne, Ben Olsson, Tom Hogg, Sean Bugg and Gary Lumley before Michael Braithwaite and Chris Jackson hit a brace apiece in an 8-1 demolition of Haxby Lions. Billy Atton and Chris Jackson both hit the target in a 2-0 win at Severus.
