Dringhouses were confirmed as York Minster Engineering League reserve ‘B’ champions when rivals Riccall lost 4-3 at Pocklington.
Goals from Jim Darlison (2) and Pete Collier put Riccall into a 3-2 lead, but Pock won thanks to two own goals and strikes from Alex Cutts and Tom Hughes.
Fulford United lost 6-3 at St Clement’s in reserve ‘C’, with John Alcock (2), Danny Peace (2), Mike Walsh and Scott Nicholas on target for Saints. Jimmy Redpath (2) and Ross Nelson replied for Fulford.
Malton & Norton notched their sixth unbeaten game as they won 3-1 at Tockwith with goals from Ed Marwood (2) and Adam Cook.
Civil Service hit back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with F1 Racing in reserve ‘D’ with goals from Mark Lund (2) and Sam Wood. In round one of the Junior Cup, Selby Olympia beat Stamford Bridge 4-2.
