HARROGATE Town have been taken over by multi-millionaire property developer Irving Weaver.
The Strata Homes chairman, who is the father of Town boss Simon Weaver, has succeeded 80-year-old Bill Fotherby at the Wetherby Road helm.
Weaver had a net worth of £46 million according to the 2009 Sunday Times Rich List and was first approached by former Leeds United chairman Fotherby at the start of the year.
