A DESPERATE plea for new players has been issued by Fulford Junior Football Club’s under-15s girls team.
The side are switching from seven-a-side football to nine-a-side in the City of York Girls’ League next season and need two or three additional players.
Coach Martin Walker said the team was in danger of folding if fresh blood was not drafted in over the next fortnight.
The squad train at Fulford School on Fridays during term time from 6.30pm to 8pm, with games being played on Saturday mornings.
