North Yorkshire trainer Mark Johnston, who has already sent out 34 winners this year, can add to his tally at Wolverhampton this afternoon.
The Middleham handler can score with Loud and Watersmeet, both mounts of Joe Fanning, Johnston's number-one rider.
Loud bids for a quick double after getting off the mark in good style at Southwell last week. There was a lot to like about that success and although he has a different surface to contend with this this afternoon, Loud is fancied to defy a 6lb penalty in the Compare Bookmakers At bookmakers.co.uk Handicap.
Watersmeet, who runs in the Ladbrokes Maiden Stakes, has finished second in both her starts to date and went down by only a neck at Kempton at the beginning of the month. She looks capable of winning in maiden company and opportunity is napped to come knocking for her this time.
Norton trainer Julie Camacho sent out Dandarrell to win at Southwell last week and she can follow-up with My Single Malt in the Ladbrokes Handicap.
The six-year-old ran well for a long way when fifth here on his latest start, which followed a respectable runner-up at the same venue.
My Single Malt has Paul Mulrennan in the saddle as he aims to open his 2014 account. The in-form Pipers Piping, who is chasing a hat-trick a wins and who is the mount of Malton jockey Duran Fentiman, ranks as an obvious danger.
Also worth noting at Wolverhampton are Haadeeth (2.10), who shaped well to finish second to Come On Dave in a well-contested claimer here 12 days ago, and Byron Gala (3.50), who finished an encouraging second to Kraka Gym at Kemptn on his reappearance three weeks ago. He should strip fitter and sharper this time.
Over the jumps at Ludlow, Tony McCoy, who was back in action at Haydock yesterday after taking a pumelling in two heavy falls at Cheltenham last week, can land the first two races on Fabrika and She Ranks Me.
Trained by Nicky Henderson, Fabrika returns from a four-month break for the Biterley Mares' Maiden Hurdle. A bumper winner at Newbury last season, she finished a good second to the useful Carol's Spirit on her debut over hurdles at the same course. She will be hard to beat.
She Ranks Me, trained by Donald McCain, won over fences at Plumpton last month and has every chance of following-up in the European Breeders' Fund/Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Mares' Novices' Chase. A smart hurdler, she has more to give as a chaser.
Lord Navits is chasing a hat-trick of wins in the Bromfield Novices' Limited Handicap Chase.
David Bridgwater's gelding has really got his act together over fences lately, winning at Bangor and Southwell. He likes to bowl along in front and may be hard to catch again in the hands of Alain Cawley, who has established a good rapport with him.
Exeter winner Bobble Boru (4.05) and Oyster Shell (4.40), who returns after a winter break on the good ground which suits him so well, are two others to bear in mind.
