PAUL MULRENNAN, who has ridden four winners in four weeks since he returned from a five-month spell on the sidelines, can add to his rising score at Wolverhampton this afternoon.

The North Yorkshire jockey, pictured, who sustained major injuries in a crashing fall at Hamilton last autumn, is reunited with nap selection My Single Malt in the Ladbrokes Mobile Handicap.

My Single Malt won really well on this course last week with Mulrennan in the saddle. a 6lb penalty may not be enough to halt the Norton gelding, who had more than two lengths to spare on his latest outing.

Mulrennan has been busy riding-out for several trainers, including Bryan Smart, Kevin Ryan and Tim Easterby, in advance of the Flat turf season kicking-off this weekend. He should enjoy a good year, provided he can remain injury-free.

Joe Fanning, who has enjoyed a most productive winter, can lift the first two races at Wolverhampton.

In the opening 32red Mermaids Millions Slot Fillies' Handicap, he teams-up with Beylerbey, who has proved limited in maidends, but who is now in a handicap off a mark of only 65. Mark Johnston's filly should go well.

Very First Blade will have Fanning on board in the Download The Ladbrokes App Handicap over seven furlongs.

Michael Mullineaux's gelding is overdue a win, having finished in the frame on his last four starts and being beaten only a nose at Southwell on his penultimate outing.

Marco Botti has a powerful team lined-up for the year ahead from his Newmarket base and he can hit the target with Camachoice in the Ladbrokes Selling Stakes.

Adam Kirby's mount finished a close-up fourth in the London Mile Handicap at Kempton on his latest start. He is dropped in class here and is fancied to capitalise.

Also worthy of attention are Dunstall Park are recent course winner Hierarch (3.40) and the promising Indian Trifone (4.40).

Over the jumps at Towcester, Lucy Wadham may prove worth following. The Newmarket trainer has double prospects with Spyder and Mistral Reine.

A dual-winner on the Flat, Spyder shaped well at Southwell on his jumping bow to finish second to Flementime. He should have benefited from that experience is fancied to go one better in the Towcester Racecourse New Greyhound Track Development Novices' Hurdle.

Wadham and her regular rider Leighton Aspell can also win the Mick & Sheila 50th Wedding Anniversary Mares' Handicap Hurdle.

The five-year-old could hardly be coming into this race in better form having won by a wide margin, and without having to be asked a serious question, Fakenham last month. This three-miler looks a good opportunity for her to add to her spoils.

Take The Crown may be the answer to the Happy 90th Birthday Michael Finn Handicap Hurdle.

The Henry Oliver-trained gelding won handsomely by eight lengths at Chepstow on his latest outing and may be up to defying a 7lb penalty in the hands of Denis O'Regan.

Also worth noting are Fair Bramble (2.30), who is equipped with first-time blinkers and the ultra-consistent Bennys Quest (4.30).
