Along The Nile can complete a hat-trick of wins in the feature race at Wetherby this afternoon.

Trained by Keith Reveley, this former decent handicapper on the Flat has developed into a useful recruit to hurdling, winning on his debut at Newcastle before clinching a valuable handicap at Musselburgh a fortnight ago.

Along The Nile did well to overcome his hurdling inexperience at Musselburgh and is clearly growing in confidence in his new discipline.

The £10,000 Bramham Hall For Conferences And Banqueting Handicap Hurdle is the target for the six-year-old, who will again have the assistance of trainer's son James Reveley, who has been riding plenty of winners lately.

Tim Easterby has good prospects of landing the European Breeders' Fund Novices' Hurdle with Lease Lend.

The five-year-old is already a winner here, over hurdles and in a bumper, and the expected testing conditions should not conspire against him.

With the steeplechase track not fit for racing after the recent heavy rains, today's Wetherby card is an all-hurdle affair, with the exception of the closing bumper race.

Also worth noting is Rambling Minster (2.40), another Reveley inmate, who reverts to hurdles after a successful spell of chasing, and the promising Brook No Argument (3.10), trained by John Quinn.

At Kempton tomorrow, Derek Shaw promises to be the trainer to follow.

A one-time member of Mick Easterby's Sheriff Hutton yard in his riding days, Shaw, nowadays based near Newark, has enjoyed a purple patch in recent weeks and enjoyed a double at his Southwell earlier this week.

Shaw has treble prospects tomorrow, with Royal Envoy, the nap selection, expected to kick off the trio in the digibet Sports Betting Handicap.

A staying-on second over an inadequate six furlongs on his latest start, Royal Envoy will benefit from this step back up to seven furlongs.

Cool Sands can give Shaw another winner in the digibet Casino Handicap.

The six-year-old, like Royal Envoy, a former course and distance winner, shaped nicely to finish fourth at Southwell on his latest outing.

Epidaurian King, a winner for Shaw at Wolverhampton ten days ago, has every chance of following up in the Day Time Night Time, Great Time Handicap.

The five-year-old is in excellent form at present and, although he will be required to raise his game again, there is every chance he can continue in a winning vein.

The promising Salt Of The Earth (12.45) and Alan Brown's North Yorkshire raider Stepaside (1.15), runner-up on his last two starts at Southwell, are two others to note at the Surrey track, which, following the abandonment of Carlisle's jumping meeting, is the only racing in Britain tomorrow.
