It's a long haul from the Kennythorpe yard of John Wainwright to Lingfield in Surrey, but the Ryedale-based trainer can make his journey worthwhile tomorrow by hitting the bullseye with Mister Fizzbomb.

The five-year-old lines up for the Sharen Blaqueire Handicap over a mile and a half and should relish this return to a trip which suits him down to the ground.

On his latest start at Wolverhampton, Mister Fizzbomb ran over nine furlongs and, unsurprisingly outpaced through the first half of the race, ran on well in the closing stages to finish fourth, beaten only a couple of lengths by the winner, Moment Of Clarity.

A winner over tomorrow's distance at Catterick in the autumn, Mister Fizzbomb may be able to revert to his favoured forcing tactics tomorrow. With the excellent PJ McDonald in the saddle, he is awarded the nap vote.

Leading female rider Hayley Turner can figure among the winners at Lingfield.

Turner, a former champion apprentice, now firmly establishing herself in the senior league, renews her association with Bonus in the the featured arenaleisureplc.com Handicap. The combination have rattled up wins here and at Kempton on their latest two appearances and there is every chance a hat-trick will be on the cards tomorrow.

In the Partybets.com Handicap, Bahiano should not be overlooked in the hands of Liam Jones.

The Clive Brittain-trained seven-year-old finished a creditable fourth at Kempton on his latest start after enduring traffic problems trying to find a clear run. He steps up to a mile tomorrow and is fancied to relish the longer distance.

The promising Segal (12.15) and Mark Johnston's in-form Boomtown (2.25), narrowly beaten on this course in midweek, are two others to consider.

Tomorrow's best jumping action hinges totally on the weather, with both Ascot and Haydock having suffered a deluge of rain this week, which has placed a question mark over whether they will be fit to race. Fingers are firmly crossed that both meetings survive.

The feature at Ascot is the £140,000 Victor Chandler Chase, in which Twist Magic will be very hard to beat following his impressive effort when landing the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown last month.

Paul Nicholls, trainer of Twist Magic, can also land the other two televised races at Ascot with the promising Mobaasher (1.10) and the hat-trick seeking Marodima (2.20).

At Haydock, where a course inspection was planned for this morning, a quartet of four Grade 2 races make for a high-class card, highlighted by the Peter Marsh Chase, in which Malcolm Jefferson's Roman Ark, four-times a winner on this course, has decent claims.

Afsoun, winner of the Bonusprint.com Champion Trial, can do so again for Nicky Henderson, while Kate Walton's dual winner Nevertika, impressive at Wetherby last month, should do the Middleham trainer proud in the J W Lees Novices' Chase.
