The weather continues to call the shots on the racing front.
Waterlogging has caused the abandonment of tomorrow's jumps cards at Towcester and Market Rasen, leaving Wolverhampton's all-weather Flat programme as the only surviving action in Britain.
York trainer Mel Brittain has targeted another tempting opportunity for the in-form Qaasi and the six-year-old has every chance of completing a rapid hat-trick since returning to action only a week ago.
A comeback success on this course has since been followed up with another track success, by five lengths after being sent off the odds-on favourite.
Qaasi has more on his plate this time, but, teamed up once again with smart apprentice Mark Lawson, who is attached to Brittain's Warthill yard, he is fancied to serve up another victory in the Half Term Deals At Pontin's Classified Stakes.
Bold Diva is another horse bidding for hat-trick honours in the See Postman Pat At Pontin's Handicap.
The three-year-old has rattled up a quick brace of wins at Southwell and Kempton and Tony Carroll's filly has every chance of defying a 6lb penalty. Kirsty Milczarek, who has established a good rapport with Bold Diva, again takes the mount.
Glenridding will not be short of supporters in the Ladbrokes Handicap.
The James Given-trained four-year-old failed by only a head to beat Hatch A Plan on his latest start, and can be regarded as an unlucky loser as his rider dropped his whip in the closing stages. Compensation can come the way of nap selection Glenridding tomorrow.
Malton jockey David Allan journeys to Wolverhampton and can take the opening honours aboard Tanforan for trainer Brian Baugh, whose horses are running well at the moment.
Closely matched with Alto Vertigo on recent course and distance form, Tanforan is fancied to come out on top.
Recent Kempton winner Golden Square (2.20) and Tag Team (4.50), who underlined his well being at Southwell last time, are two others to note.
Racing selections
Wolverhampton (tomorrow) 1.50 Tanforan, 2.20 Golden Square, 2.50 Bold Diva, 3.20 Qaasi, 3.50 Blue Eyed Eloise, 4.20 Glenridding (NAP), 4.50 Tag Team.
l Tomorrow's other meetings at Towcester and Market Rasen have been abandoned.
Today's meetings: Lingfield, Ascot, Haydock, Wincanton and Wolverhampton.
