The £75,000 Investec Entrepreneurial Class ‘Dash’ Handicap over the fastest five furlongs in the country is the target for the five-year-old, who was only nailed in the dying strides 12 months ago by Indian Trail.
Trail-blazing tactics were employed that day, but Captain Dunne has since been ridden with more patience.
Jimmy Fortune has the task of getting him home in front tomorrow and making the gelding’s long journey from Great Habton well worthwhile.
Richard Fahey has three good chances on the Epsom card.

At Doncaster, trainer Luca Cumani and jockey JP Guillambert could prove the combination to follow.
The duo, who enjoyed two winners at Redcar on Monday, which included the Zetland Gold Cup, can score with Day Of The Eagle (2.20), Afsare (3.25) and Bourne (3.55).
• Alan Berry has his heart set on one more crack at the Nunthorpe Stakes at York with admirable sprinter Look Busy.
