Tim Easterby, who has already overtaken his total score for 2009, can continue his excellent campaign at Doncaster tomorrow evening.

The Great Habton trainer, who sent out a treble at Ripon last Saturday, followed up with two more winners on Monday – Escape Artist scoring at Beverley and Favourite Girl landing a £40,000 feature sprint at Ayr.

Tomorrow, Easterby sends nap selection Cheers For Thea to Doncaster for the Sky Bet Supporting the Yorkshire Summer Racing Festival Fillies’ Handicap and David Allan’s mount has a fine chance of further adding to his trainer’s mounting tally of winners.

Successful at Carlisle two starts ago, Cheers For Thea has since finished a good third at Warwick, a performance which left the strong impression that she remains, like so many of her stable-mates, in excellent form. She should go well in this seven-furlong event.

Gertmegalush, a York winner last season when trained at Middleham by James Bethell, is now with John Harris and ran a fine third to Cornus in a competitive race at Pontefract recently.

She should go well in the Keepmoat Handicap over six furlongs.

David O’Meara, based at Nawton near Helmsley, has good prospects of winning the Welcome To Yorkshire On To A Winner Maiden Auction Fillies’ Stakes with Maggie Mey.

The two-year-old shaped really well on her debut at Ripon to finish less than two lengths behind Rock Ace in fourth place. The experienced gained from that outing should stand her in solid stead this time.

Grams And Ounces (8.30), a fluent winner at Ayr last week, and Chilly Filly (9.00), who found only Umverti too strong at Pontefract last Friday night, are also worthy of attention on Town Moor.

At Sandown’s afternoon meeting, Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes, a trainer-jockey combination in top form, are set for another profitable programme.

The duo can score with Cadeaux Pearl (2.10), beaten less than a length into second by Georges Lane at Doncaster a couple of weeks ago, and Admirable Spirit (3.20), who won at Newbury on his debut and who looks ready for this step up into Listed company.
