Internationaldebut, who came up trumps at York’s The Press Family Raceday last month, has proved a revelation since and, back on Knavesmire tomorrow, he is fancied to complete a four-timer in the feature race on the closing card of 2011.

The £75,000 Coral Sprint Trophy is the target for the six-year-old as he bids to provide Westow trainer Paul Midgley with his biggest-ever success.

With Freddie Tylicki, who has established a notable rapport with the gelding, in the saddle once again, a bold challenge is anticipated.

Internationaldebut has risen to a mark of 103, following his winning spree. Rated 87 when he won the featured sprint on the popular The Press Sunday, he went in again at Doncaster’s St Leger meeting and completed a fine hat-trick in a valuable conditions race at Beverley just short of three weeks ago.

Tomorrow’s race has been his target since. It’s not going to be easy. But a sprinter in form is a horse to have on your side. And that horse is Internationaldebut.

Midgley and Tylicki also join forces with Haajes in the coral.co.uk Handicap. It’s the race the gelding won 12 months ago and he’s now set to race off a marginally lower mark, despite winning at Doncaster last month.

In the coral.co.uk Rockingham Stakes, Roger Sez appeals.

Tim Easterby’s smart juvenile responded to the first-time fitting of blinkers to win Ayr’s Firth Of Clyde Stakes in terrific style last month. The headgear is back on tomorrow in this Listed affair.

While John Gosden’s progressive Dick Doughtwylie is fanceid to head Robert The Painter in the Green Tick For Better Odds At coral.co.uk Handicap, Richard Fahey, trainer of Robert The Painter, has good prospects of winners deeper in the card.

If Mickdaam, slightly disappointing last time, can reproduce his debut run at Newmarket, he will take some beating in the Coral Maiden Stakes, while Antigua Sunrise, the mount of Laura Barry, should go close in the Coldstream Guards Association Cup Handicap.

Paul Hanagan, rider of Mickdaam, also has good prospects on Astromagick, trained by Mark Tompkins, in the coral.co.uk Handicap.

By the time of the final race, Hanagan will be on his way to Wolverhampton’s evening meeting – such is the challenge of defending a jockeys’ championship.

Tomorrow’s corking Newmarket programme promises plenty for North Yorkshire trainers.

John Quinn saddles nap selection Red Duke, unlucky in both his races since winning in Group 2 at Newmarket, in the £300,000 Dubai Dewhurst Stakes. He commands plenty of respect, as does Kevin Ryan’s Bapak Chinta in the £150,000 Emaar Middle Park Stakes.

Bapak Chinta was forced to miss the Nunthorpe Stakes at York in August, but Ryan reports him to be in flying form.

Mark Johnston has three runners in the Betfred Cesarewitch. Hat-trick seeking Becausewecan may be to the one to be favour under Joe Fanning.
