Neil Warnock’s Leeds United travel to mid-table Blackburn Rovers tomorrow in what is sure to be a hotly-contested npower Championship encounter.
Warnock’s men can be certain that it won’t be a walk in the park despite Blackburn losing 2-0 at Hull on Tuesday.
Blackburn manager Michael Appleton will be looking for his team to bounce back with a win against United.
But Warnock and his boys won’t make it easy for the team who sit two places and only a solitary point behind them in the League.
Leeds will have to be aware of Blackburn’s danger man, Jordan Rhodes, who will be looking to increase his impressive goal tally for this season.
Under-fire Warnock paid tribute to his team for a superb performance in their comfortable 2-0 victory over Paul Ince’s Blackpool on Wednesday.
“I can’t fault any of them. They were aware of the situation involving myself,” said the Leeds chief.
“They say it’s never over until the fat lady sings and we have a lot of points to play for. We’ve got the best side since I’ve been here.”
The United boss also defended himself after recent murmurings that he may be replaced.
He added: “People talk about a different manager, but if you can find another who will get a performance like that out of them…I was so proud of them.”
