AHEAD of the West Yorkshire derby at home to Huddersfield Town tomorrow, Leeds United boss Brian McDermott is trying to dispel all negative feelings.
The loss of two points against midweek visitors Ipswich against whom Ross McCormack levelled with a penalty combined with the collapse of the club’s latest proposed takeover, was muddying the waters at Elland Road.
Said McDermott: “It’s tough on and off the pitch.
“There is enough negativity around the place at the moment so I can’t be negative in the dressing room. We don’t want that to filter down to the fans.
“I think it is important we try to stay as positive as possible. The bigger picture for me has always been the stability of this club.”
