HOME comfort is being sought by Leeds United when they welcome Millwall to Elland Road in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow.

The Whites are without a win in six league games stretching back to their 2-1 win at Yeovil on February 8, but strikers Ross McCormack and Matt Smith are united in their belief the club can end that run.

A 5-1 victory over Huddersfield is Leeds' only home success of 2014, while they have lost 5-1 to Bolton and 4-2 to Reading at Elland Road this month.

Skipper McCormack, the club's top scorer, said: “We are training well and everyone is focused on Millwall. We’re all hoping to put together a decent run of results before the end of the season.

“I think we probably deserved a point at Burnley. If we’d have been 1-0 up at half time it would have been a bit easier to hold on but their goal just before the break killed us.

“We have got some good strikers at this club and it is all about getting the players into a formation and getting your better players on the pitch. The gaffer threw the three of us on from the start and I think that it worked quite well.”

Millwall battling for survival in the Championship and McCormack said: “You know what you are going to get from Millwall.

“They will come to Elland Road and will work hard. They won’t give you anything for nothing. It is up to us to go and produce a positive performance and result.

“In the lead up to December we were excellent at home and we’ll be looking to get that back.”

Fellow front man Smith is aiming to capitalise on three of the next four league fixtures being at Elland Road.

“We haven’t given the fans much to shout about and we want to give them something,” he said.

“It’s important that when we cross the white line we do what we can. It’s a results driven business.

“Our frustration is with results because they haven’t been going for us.

“We’re an honest bunch though and we know we need results. We can’t hide from under-par performances. We roll up our sleeves and go again.

“We’re all in it together, the management and staff have been terrific, and we have to pull each other through it. It’s a ruthless industry, its results orientated. And it’s up to us to win these matches."
