BESIEGED by off-field issues that could spark administration and a 20-point deduction, Leeds United were brushed aside in a 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth last night.
The visitors were up against the wall as early as the 67th second when Yann Kermorgant’s close-range finish from a Simon Francis corner went past goalkeeper Jack Butland.
Barely had Leeds had time to recover when the deficit was doubled. Francis this time put in Lewis Grabban to drive in the Cherries’ second goal in the 18th minute.
Ten minutes later the same pairing combined with the same outcome, Grabban making it 3-0 and Leeds’ uphill task was heightened within six minutes of the re-start when Kermorgant notched his second.
Ross McCormack’s 26th goal of the term was mere consolation.
