BACK from the enforced break for international fixtures, Leeds United will be looking to prevail in more parochial action.
Neil Redfearn’s men head across the Pennines to the Ewood Park home of Blackburn Rovers in a potentially exciting War of the Roses duel tomorrow.
The hosts have recently hit their straps to edge them on to the fringe of the promotion battle. They currently occupy seventh spot.
But before the hiatus for European Championship qualifiers and international friendlies, Leeds swept to their first victory under Redfearn’s now permanent stewardship when they beat lowly Blackpool 3-1 in a convincing Elland Road display.
Now the former York City youth coach will be hoping Leeds will resume where they left off as the club seeks to shake off a so far season of tumult.
