LEEDS United are targeting a Sky Bet Championship one-two.
Neil Redfearn’s side travel to second-placed Ipswich Town tomorrow aiming to back up last Saturday’s 2-0 toppling of leaders Derby County at Elland Road.
The Whites have taken seven points from their last four games, having previously gone eight games without a win.
A key man in that run has been midfielder Alex Mowatt, who will learn today if he has won the Sky Bet Championship player of the month award for November.
The 19-year-old scored three stunning goals, claimed two assists and has been a driving force in the United engine room during their revival in fortunes.
Mowatt, who is up against Blackburn’s Rudy Gestede, Brentford’s Andre Gray and Darren Randolph, of Birmingham City, said: “I’m playing with confidence and when you play with confidence, you’ll always play a lot better and try more things.
“I feel a lot stronger and a lot fitter as well.”
On the club’s aims for the remainder of the campaign, Mowatt added: “We should be pushing for top six and the play-offs, hopefully we can kick on from the win on Saturday.”
