The emotional roller-coaster ride being suffered by Leeds fans has lurched both ways in the last couple of days.

Spirits dipped as relegation rivals QPR and Burnley won vital games in hand but shot back up with the news that Alan Thompson could be back in action on Saturday.

And with optimism very much the mood of the moment, supporters' glasses were definitely half full when they heard Tore Andre Flo will also join in training today and at the thought that if Plymouth can go down 4-0 at Burnley, Leeds could well register their first back to back wins when they meet Argyle on Saturday.

The two matches over Easter are often the turning point in races at either end of the table but the situation at the bottom of the Championship is so close, with only seven points separating the bottom seven clubs, that nothing is likely to be resolved by Tuesday night.

Leeds follow their home match against Plymouth with a tricky trip to Colchester, who have excelled at Layer Road this season but if Dennis Wise's men could pick up six points, the rest of the fixtures suggest they would climb out of the bottom three at the expense of Barnsley.
